Join us on Monday, July 27 for a Visible Mending Skill-share from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. at The Festival Center in Adams Morgan!

Following our last meeting, this will be another evening of upcycling with visible mends. Bring your torn, moth-eaten, or threadbare garments and decoratively hand-darn them into something even better! We’ll provide examples, materials, and some guidance specifically for visible darning (weaving threads together into a visible mend), but don’t hesitate to bring sashiko, appliqué, or other visible mending projects to work on and share.

As with our last visible mending meeting, this will be less of a workshop and more of a chatty sewing circle with knowledge sharing. Come as a beginner or as a seasoned mender, and we’ll learn from each other!

Please RSVP on Action Network to receive further updates on this event.
