If you’ve been looking for a daytime event that’s all about great music, positive energy, and meeting friendly people, this is one of my favorite recommendations in DC.

Sunday Love isn’t your typical club event. You can spend the afternoon dancing on the rooftop, browse local artists and vendors, grab a drink, and ease into the week with an incredibly welcoming crowd. Whether you come with friends or show up solo, it’s one of the easiest places to strike up conversations and feel part of the community.

What to expect:
🧘 Complimentary Wellness Session from 3:00 to 4:00 PM
🌇 Rooftop DJs in the Green Room
🛍️ Love Bazaar featuring local artists and vendors from 5:00 to 9:00 PM
🎧 Multiple rooms of house music throughout the afternoon and evening

A few insider tips after attending:

✅ If you want the free Wellness Session, arrive by 2:45 PM. Doors close promptly around 3:05 PM and don’t reopen until 4:00 PM.
✅ No photos or videos are allowed on the dance floors, which helps everyone stay present and enjoy the experience.
✅ Shoes are required while dancing.

I’ve been to a lot of events around DC, and Sunday Love has one of the friendliest, most relaxed atmospheres you’ll find. If you’ve been thinking about checking it out, July 12 is a great opportunity. It is a weekly event, from about May to October, every Sunday, so this will be a regular occurrence for DC Ravers.
