We gays buy properties, and therefore we have DIY projects at our properties. Let's help each other! 50% DIY, 50% social. 100% fun!
What your group is about and what you'll do at your events? We're about helping each other out with our DIY projects, learning from each other, and maybe helping out on projects. I suspect our events will be mostly sharing our lessons learned, our skills, and weird stories about out DIY projects.
Who should join your group? Anyone! It would help to be LGBTQIA+ adjacent, but we won't turn anyone away! Really the DIY part is the most important part.
Any dues or fees you plan to charge members? Nope! At least not yet. If we get big enough to have larger events, we may have to think about paying for them.
The group's affiliation, if it's associated with a business or organization? None. Although I suspect trips to Home Depot or Lowes will be frequent.
