What we’re about
DC International Futbol Club has been in existence for over 10 years in DC with members of varying cultural backgrounds, ethnicities, age, and gender.
We have been regularly playing at Edgewood Recreation Center's field since its construction, on Tuesdays from 8:00 pm to 10:00 pm.
We are a multicultural group who loves to have fun outside of the field as well. Some neighbors in the area even come to just spectate and have a relaxing evening. Join us for joga bonita!
GUEST POLICY:
NO GUESTS WITHOUT PRIOR APPROVAL FROM THE ORGANIZERS. IF YOU SEE THAT YOU CAN ADD A GUEST, IT IS A MISTAKE AND YOUR GUEST RSVP WILL BE REMOVED.
LATE DROPOFF POLICY:
Late drop-offs will incur a 1-week suspension. Repeated late drop-offs may be subject to increased suspension time. All suspensions handled on case-by-case basis.
GENERAL REMARKS
Courteous plays. No slide tackling. Co-ed. No hands. We play with No corners. No throw in.
Given the huge demand, we had to limit each sessions to a maximum of 32 players. (2 games of 8v8). To play, you must register for each meetup (on a first come first served basis). Once the Meetups are full, there is a waiting list and you can still get a seat if players cancel. If you are not on the list, please do not drop by, as we can only play with a maximum of 32 players. \

I certify that playing soccer may be risky and dangerous. I realize that those risks include, but are not limited to, permanent paralysis and death, and may result from slips, falls, collisions, equipment failure, bad decision-making, inattentive players and from equipment that has become worn, loose or damaged. I understand that there are unforeseeable accidents. While particular rules, equipment, and personal discipline may reduce this risk, I acknowledge the risk of injury does exist. etc \
