What we’re about
The DC Lean + Agile Meetup is a community for practitioners, leaders, and change agents who are passionate about delivering real business value through modern ways of working.
Our conversations and events focus on three core areas:
- Value Discovery – Exploring how teams and organizations identify customer needs, validate assumptions, and align strategy to measurable outcomes
- Delivery Acceleration – Sharing practical approaches to improve flow, reduce friction, and deliver value faster with greater predictability
- Process Optimization & Scaling – Examining Lean and Agile practices that help organizations evolve, scale effectively, and sustain continuous improvement
Through expert talks, peer discussions, and real-world case studies, we aim to move beyond theory and focus on what actually works in today’s complex environments.
While LitheSpeed is based in the DC/Northern Virginia area, this meetup welcomes members from any location who are interested in Lean, Agile, product-centric thinking, and value-driven delivery.
Join us to learn, connect, and grow with a community focused on turning ideas into impact.

•Online2/11 - Change, Fear, and the Path Forward in Turbulent Times
OnlineDiana Larsen will join the DC Lean + Agile Meetup on February 11, 2026 at 12pm ET.
### Topic: Change, Fear, and the Path Forward in Turbulent Times
Whether in our personal lives, our professional practices, or our organizational processes, when we experience confusing and chaotic situations, we tend to fill in the unknown & uncertain future with our worst fears…and then often make long term plans with that too-limited view in mind. It’s a human thing. Diana Larsen has been there too. Have you experienced your light bulb moment? Diana has.
In this talk, she will share how to take it slowly, reframing this scary, confusing time from fearsome and inhibiting to an opportunity to learn, to inquire, to improve conventional wisdom to include new realities. As trusted advisors and leaders, we all must find ways to learn and plan incrementally, with opportunities and threats, aspirations and mitigations, in mind. Let’s talk about staying curious and moving through to the path forward, even in turbulent times - through pandemics, social unrest, wildfires, job insecurities, and more. Come ready to take notes!
