Sappho - Poetry Session

This meeting will be dedicated to discussion of the poetry of Sappho (ca. 630-570 BC). We’ll be working from If Not, Winter, a compilation/translation by Anne Carson.

We’ll plan to focus on a handful of core poems (TBD, will be listed here soon), but you are encouraged to read the entire collection. Please come ready to discuss any favorites not listed here.
