First Meetup - DC Metro Black Writers' Meetup Group

MEETINGS

• First Meeting is scheduled for Friday, August 1st 2025 at 7:30PM EST.
• The purpose will be to 'set the foundation', so to speak, and discuss how the DC Metro - Black Writers' Meetup Group meetings will operate.
• Participants will be asked to introduce themselves briefly, but may type their introduction the the chat, if preferred - INTROVERTS ARE WELCOME!
• Participants will are encouraged to bring an original piece they are working on, and would like to submit to the group for critique.
• Following this inaugural meeting, this group will meet regularly every first and third Friday of the month at 7:30 PM EST. Individual meetings may be moved, but we will try to conform to this regular schedule.
• A typical meeting will be for a duration of one and a half hours.
