What we’re about

If you appreciated the old sense making podcasts of Rebel Wisdom, you may feel at home in the online community they spawned, Emergent Commons. Rebel Wisdom itself is closed. Emergent Commons is a volunteer-run non-profit. It encourages sense making and allows members to form their own subgroups known as "crews."  There are crews for Circling, studying Vervaeke, sharing your creative work, and more. I help run a crew called Chapel of the Logos, which offers collective conversations on spiritual question with a little music and ritual as well.

Keep making sense of the world in the deepest ways you know.

From the old Rebel Wisdom website:

"Fueled by social media, many have become trapped in reaction and ideology, yet big questions can only be explored with open-minded, self-reflective, grounded conversations. Rebel Wisdom looks to move beyond ideology. We create our content with the intention of engaging with the whole person – intellect, body, and intuition - to create honest discussions.  In a time where truth has become whatever you want it to be - we believe in the rebellious, transformative power of genuine Truth. Conversations that strive for this can have a profound effect on our lives."

Rebel Wisdom's unique YouTube channel grew to much acclaim with interviews with thought leaders like John Vervaeke, Jordan Greenhall, Jamie Wheal, Ken Wilber, Jordan Peterson, Eric Weinstein, Brett Weinstein, Heather Heying, Ian McGilchrist, Stan Groff, Gabor Mate, Warren Farrel, Cassie Jaye, and many more. Among the many topics covered were collective coherence, sense making, overcoming polarization, the new mens' movement, the psychedelic renaissance, and integrating the sacred.
