Title: Composable Sitecore: Authorization as a Business Capability
Speaker: Boris Brodsky, AVP of Digital Products @Verisk
LinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/in/borisbrodsky/
Abstract: The Sitecore Headless and Composable Platform offers a robust foundation for modern data security, accommodating the shift from monolithic frameworks to microservices, composable and decoupled architectures. This presentation explores the evolution of real-time authorization, emphasizing the importance of item-level data security and adherence to Zero Trust principles. We will discuss implementing fine-grained authorization systems inspired by Google's Zanzibar, focusing on flexible and scalable models like ABAC, ReBAC, RBAC, and PBAC.
7:00pm - Presentation #2
Title: Taking the plunge: From Sitecore XP to Sitecore CDP/Personalize
Speaker: Jaina Baumgartner, Principal Strategist and Founder @Pixleration
LinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/in/jainasangtani/
Abstract: In 2009 Sitecore had a breakthrough vision of going beyond a "typewriter" for the web to create and deliver personalized experiences. While many clients struggled putting that vision into action, there were the brave ones who did conquer engagement analytics and personalization. However, as omni-channel experiences became a reality, XP has fallen behind in the capability to deliver that experience, paving the way for Sitecore CDP/Personalize. In this presentation, we will focus on those customers who have a successful XP implementation with years of data and strategy, and are ready for the leap into omni-channel experiences. Come join us for a step by step process walkthrough of both strategy and technical ingestion to get data from Sitecore XP to Sitecore CDP and Personalize.
7:30pm - 5min Break
7:35pm - Presentation #3
