What's YOUR 2020 STORY? Inquiring Minds Care to Know...

Details
Would you be interested in sharing something you've learned in 2020? Or maybe be inspired by folks in this meetup group, finding solutions for the challenges of 2020? I'm willing to host a year-end "happy hour" if you will join me?
One thing for sure, each of us has been actively dealing with ISSUES of sustainability in 2020 ---especially SDG #3 -- Health & Wellbeing---during a Global Pandemic!
We started out the year thinking we might focus on SDG topics, one at a time... but since COVID, we've been busy with "intersectional" impacts. Perhaps for you it has disrupted a job, education, food security or housing. If you have family and friends in various regions, perhaps this scene has been further challenged with climate events- including wildfires, hurricanes and/or flooding - not to mention the "heating" effects. All of these are exacerbated by questions of "equity" which have motivated demonstrations, and some violences...as conflict vs collaboration must be "negotiated" to achieve creative change.
The fact is change always involves learning, and learning is not just individual, but "organizational" as we are each part of larger systems at work. Learning can be painful as it typically upsets our comfort zones, but if we are willing, can open up new possibilities.
As we celebrate thanksgiving this week, I'm feeling like there may be a long winter ahead. Meanwhile we see light coming in 2021, with new vaccines, and other innovations that are emerging. But before we get there, I'm interested in learning more about your scenarios during this huge change moment!! We have the technology as they say. And if you are wiling, maybe we can create a bridge for mutual encouragement, celebrate your resilience, and imagine better days ahead as we think forward beyond 2020!
Please consider joining in the Zoom Room Happy Hour. Bring your own drink as they say. And please be prepared to share something of your 2020 story...inquiring minds are interested in you!
