Humanitarian Aid for Ukraine Auction

*Please join your us Sunday, March 13 from 11am-2pm for a social fundraising event! Turn off those news headlines and come experience firsthand the collective compassion for humanity in this low-key, high-vibe auction to raise funds and help aid in the Ukrainian humanitarian efforts.
*Inspired by Victoriya, an ICU nurse I work closely with, who is from Ukraine and has started a fundraising initiative partnering directly with volunteers she knows personally who are involved in the Ukrainian relief efforts. Her friends and family are in the farthest state away from Russia and Ukraine, and are currently providing shelter and aid to citizens from all over Ukraine as the Russian army moves further into the country.
*They are in need of food, baby formulas, medical supplies, clothes, basic medicine, hygienic supplies, etc...
Depending on the amount raised, a portion of the donations will be used to purchase medical supplies and ship directly to there (a company in NY is offering free shipping).
*Auction will occur at a residential home and event gathering space overlooking the bay in Annapolis, MD. It will be an indoor/outdoor event with light food and refreshments provided at no cost. Feel free to BYOB and bring as many guests as you like.
*The bidding will open at 11am, and close promptly at 2pm. Inside the house will be a gallery like viewing giving the opportunity to bid on an item without pressure.

*To make a bid, write your name on the first line of the notebook paper with your bidding price. The next viewer can place a higher bid on the line below to transfer possession of the item to the name newly listed. This will continue over the next few hours as we enjoy socializing outdoors, with a gorgeous ocean view, ample seating, and two fire-pits and heaters throughout the space to keep this Florida girl warm. At 2pm all bidding will close and the items will be awarded at their listed state of value.

*There will be several (at least 6-15) of lower value items, they will not have a starting asking price meaning you’ll be able to bid whatever dollar amount you believe is worth the cost. I plan to procure a couple “high end” items that will tentatively have a bidding starting price listed (probably~ $50).

*100% of the money raised will be delivered to Viktoriya Voitko via Venmo and deposited at the conclusion of the event. Her personal Venmo, and Zelle accounts will be available if you wish to transfer to her directly or make a donation outside of the meetup organizer.
