Homecoming Soiree @ The Bethesdan Hotel

Greetings, ladies! Join us at The Bethesdan Hotel for our Fall Soiree as we celebrate the classic American tradition of Homecoming. Dating back to the early 1900s, Homecoming originally served as a festive autumn rally to welcome university alumni back to their alma maters. Today, it’s the perfect excuse to explore theme-centered fashions of yesteryear or today!

Enjoy drinks at the bar, sit down for dinner, and socialize with friends, new and old. As always, significant others are warmly invited. Assemble your favorite retro or modern outfit—whether it's a formal long gown, a classy mid-length cocktail dress, or a prom dress. Dress to impress, because we will be crowning our very own Homecoming Queen! While we won’t have a coronation ceremony, we will proudly buy the queen a drink.

We will be hanging out at the bar, lounge, and restaurant areas starting at 6 pm and chilling 'til the bar closes around 11 pm. We'll start enjoying dinner around 7 p.m. After that we have the option of heading to a local bar like Tommy Joe’s that makes sense to the post-11 pm adventurers (if you have ideas or a strong preference please let us know through messages or conversations).

Please consider overnighting at the hotel, and if you do, then be sure to book your reservation using our excellent group rate of $139 + tax by 5 p.m. on the day of the Soiree. Alternatively you can exercise your AAA, AARP or Hilton Honors membership discounts to determine if a better rate is available. Be sure to update the dates to reflect whether you want to stay for one night, two, or three. The hotel now requires a minimum of one prepaid night by check or credit card, refundable up to 3 days (72 hours) before the event.

At our signature soirees, we invite trans-women, their partners, and friends to socialize, network, and relax. We encourage new girls to come out to help boost their confidence and garner tips from those more experienced. And of course, we love having our regulars come out too! As always dress to impress; no fetish wear, please.

If you're not feeling ready for girl mode in public, you are still welcome to attend in guy mode. Upon arrival, introduce yourself as a member to the hosts, and we will welcome you warmly. Please consider joining us for dinner, drinks, and socializing. It is an opportunity to sit with your sisters and get to know them.

Parking: Montgomery County now charges for Saturday parking. Park in the PAID CITY GARAGE LOT at 8216 Woodmont Ave. Park on the second floor or above for greater than 2 hour parking. Use ParkMobile to pay or use a credit card at the machine. Walk up the parking ramp of the hotel to the main entrance. Walk straight through to where we are or turn right to check into hotel.

Alternatively, you can pay to park in the hotel garage, but it is small with low ceilings. Hotel parking costs a discounted rate of $20.00 Overnight and $10.00 Event Parking if our group books at least 7 hotel rooms from our block on Saturday. Otherwise, overnight parking is $40 and event parking is $15. Contact the front desk before departure to make sure you get this discounted rate. Warning: Large SUVs and trucks will *NOT* fit into the hotel garage. If you drive a large SUV or truck, then use the next door city garage.
