LM: Duncan Knob and Strickler Knob (16 miles)

Come join me for a DCUL classic trip! You will witness the views from Duncan Knob, Strickler Knob, and possibly a view of Sunset or Sunrise if the weather co-operates.

Some trip details (used from previous trip postings):

• We'll meet up at Vienna and carpool out to the trail head on 211, a bit like so (http://goo.gl/maps/pF9JP). We should be hiking by around 10:30 or so.
• From there, we'll walk in on the white-blazed Massanutten Connector Trail where we'll head west on the orange-blazed Massanutten Trail.
• We'll tackle Waterfall Mountain, sample the views at Jawbone Gap, then cut over to Peach Orchard Gap. We'll make camp beneath Duncan Knob, and then scramble to the top for sunset. A campfire, dinner, and enjoyment of good drinks will ensue.
• Sunday morning, we'll leave Peach Orchard Gap eastbound where we'll reconnect with the orange blazed Massanutten Trail. There, we'll head southbound towards Strickler Knob and enjoy one of the best views around.
• Then, it's a descent back to 211. We'll find a restaurant and celebrate our trip!
