VMO: AT from Dragon's Tooth to Pearisburg (67mi)

Nibbling on the AT in VA. This section runs for 65 trail miles south of Dragon's Tooth plus roughly two bonus miles of side trails. Per the ATC website, there have been recent car break-in's near Dragon's Tooth, so we'll do a commercial shuttle out of Pearisburg. There will probably be a little bit of night hiking the first day. It's possible that you'll get home pretty late on Tuesday depending on the splits that we actually end up doing.

We're leaving before metro starts on Sat, Nov 8th. Since the Monday isn't a holiday, you wouldn't be able to leave a car at metro, so we'll arrange a carpool ahead of time. I've set the group size low enough that we can likely get a shuttle to take us.

Due to the mileage, you should have already be at the veteran member rank for the club. E.g., have done a MO trip with the club in good style.

Note: Veteran's day is the Tuesday, so you'll need to take the Monday off of work too.
