LM: Trout Run Valley (27 miles)

The fall colors will be here, so we'll take the classic loop around Trout Run Valley. The splits will be about 15/12 or so, since I'm aiming to camp on the trail toward Halfmoon. We'll do the loop clockwise, so we'll head to Tibbet Knob coming out of the Wolf Gap parking lot.

The plan is to meet at Vienna Metro for carpooling, then go try our luck to find parking at Wolf Gap when we get there on Saturday.

The map for this is PATC Map F which would normally be available from https://www.patc.net/. However, it looks like they no longer stock that map. Here's the Caltopo which allows for downloading a GPS track: https://caltopo.com/m/139P A GPS app with map loaded is acceptable for this trip instead of requiring a paper map.

The size cap for the trip is 10, but I've set it lower initially so as to pull in a mix of people new to the club and people who we've already vetted.

Carpool: As per our carpool policy, riders should pay drivers $0.10/mile.
