(Very) LM: Caledonia Scouting Mission

This is a very quick trip to scout out some of the logistics for the following week's fall hiking challenge -- so we'll head up after work on Friday, position end cars at Caledonia, and then head to our starting point where the AT crosses Old Forge Road. Walk in a short distance to the Tumbling Run shelter and then set up camp.

Saturday, it's the AT north to Caledonia (10ish miles), where I'll need to scope out some parking lots. :) After that, reverse the shuttle and make our way home -- maybe with a stop at the Appalachian Brewing Company in Gettysburg, because why not.

This is a fairly quick trip but should be nice if you're looking to stretch your legs and get some fall hiking in. I'll save a few spots for applicants -- just note that due to the short length of the trip, I may ask that you do another LM trip afterwards.

if you're an applicant, you'll need to send me a gear list to be approved for the trip.

Since it is a shuttle, I will need cars.
