Holiday Walk (Union Station -> Gallery Place, Mi. 4.7)
Details
This holiday walk is loosely themed around seeing Christmas trees and other holiday displays. There will also be a stop at the Willard InterContinental lobby to try and catch a free caroling performance. Walk ends around the DC Holiday Market near Gallary place.
Time: ~6pm-9:00pm (may be earlier depending on how much lingering there is at stops)
Start Location: Union Station Main Hall
End Location: Gallery Pl-Chinatown

Terrain: There will mostly be paved and level ground.
Route:
- Meet at main hall in Union station, by the Norwegian Christmas Tree
- US Capital Christmas Tree
- Canadian Embassy Tree
- Navy Memorial
- National Gallery of Art Sculpture Garden, ice rink
- Step into the Willard InterContinental to warm-up and hopefully catch a caroling performances (scheduled ~7:15-8pm)
- I'm not sure what to expect but at most I could imagine staying for ~20 minutes here

We try to be punctual with our event times so please be respectful to others and show up a few minutes early. Note, we often limit the RSVPs to keep group sizes manageable. If you are on the waitlist but would really like to join, reach out to the organizer.
Our events prioritize metro accessibility by meeting and ending at metro stations. Sometimes we start/stop at the same station, sometimes we do not. Please double check the event description to see if you can manage transportation.
