Let's explore Old Town, see the area’s other George Washington monument up close, and other hidden treasures of Old Town!
Route:
- Start at the King Street Metro Station
- Go to the George Washington Masonic Memorial
- Bask in the view of Old Town, head back down the stairs and back to King St Metro
- Walk through the Carlyle neighborhood to the African American Heritage Park Trail
- Walk towards Prince St and follow till the waterfront
- Go to Wilkes Tunnel
- Go down Wales Alley
- Walk along the river towards Founders Park
- Walk to the Spite House
- Walk to Christ Church Alexandria
- Walk along King Street to the Metro Station
- Finish at the King Street Metro Station

Terrain: This will be mostly flat, on paved or gravel ground
