This semi- scenic 5.7mile easy walk is nearly all paved with some benign inclines. Pace: 3mph. The trek strolls around a Superbowl, and more!

The circuit kicks-off from the (BL/SV) Morgan Boulevard Station through an artwork display titled "STOP & GO" (c. 2004) by Athena Tacha (who also 'composed' the Strathmore Music Hall Pedestrian Skybridge lights in Rockville, MD). Garrett Morgan, who the station is named after, is credited for patenting a/the '3-armed traffic signal', an early form of Today's modern traffic lights despite the display using Metrorail color- lines.

The trek then has a Touchdown in scenic Summerfield park, with a lateral spur to a viewpoint. Afterwards, the walk weaves through the woodland tackling some BOUNTIFUL BOARDWALKS along the way. Once egressing from this (green-) tunnel, the circuit encircles Northwest Stadium before breaking at an OVERLOOK for half-time. The latter of this gameplan saunters through suburbia with a timeout by a HOUSE ON A HILL, then concludes back at the Metro station in the End Zone; hopefully no Penalties!

NOTES:
1. Trail Forecast= MAP | Sneakers ok, cleats not needed. Sports clothing/ Jerseys encouraged! Only opponent may be some seed/ vegetative debris on the walk-ways.

We try to be punctual with our event times so please be respectful to others and show up a few minutes early. Note, we often limit the RSVPs to keep group sizes manageable. If you are on the waitlist but would really like to join, reach out to the organizer.

Our events prioritize metro accessibility by meeting and ending at metro stations. Sometimes we start/stop at the same station, sometimes we do not. Please double check the event description to see if you can manage transportation.
