This 6.5mile moderate walk is nearly all paved but has several hidden hills, gaining an elevation of ~650ft. Pace: 3mph. The trek traverses the history of a former trolley line that connected the MD cities of Bethesda & Rockville. Highlights include a secret stream saunter, the mystifying "Moon Tree", and an [unlikely] Amtrak Train fly-by!

The walk begins down an escalator, bopping by various Grosvenor residential buildings (Estate included), followed with a flash of a dash through Fleming Park. The trek then proceeds north on the BETHESDA TROLLEY TRAIL (BTT) that includes a benign bridge above I270, before breaking at a Whole Foods for water/ bathrooms.

The trek resumes with a stroll along a shopping center that quickly queues through White Flint park, which offers a vacuous vista of a vacancy that a mall of the same name once occupied; the property was originally a farm turned golf course.

Latter of the circuit ganders through Garrett Park, a historical railroad residency where no two hip houses look alike; feast at the town Farmer's Market. After an arduous ascent reveals the Strathmore Music Hall & Mansion with Sculpture Garden, the walk concludes, showcasing terrific TOTEM POLES designed by students from surrounding high schools!

NOTES=
1. Trail Forecast: MAP | Sneakers best; heed bicyclists on the BTT. NO dogs.
2. While in Garrett Park, the trek traverses quiet residential roads due to no sidewalks.
3. Post-social @Java Nation.
