Beach camping on Assateague Island
Columbus day weekend, Oct 8-11 (Fri-Mon). Check in to the campground anytime after 2pm Friday.
Join the group as they head to the Beach for a Fall Campout on the Beach.
See wild horses stroll thru the campsites and drive over to Ocean City which is just minutes away. You can even Rent Kayaks and take a bay-side tour or JUST RELAX...
$54/person for the entire long weekend. But if two people are able to share a car and share a tent, just reserve one slot and pay $54 for the two people. (Add in the comment field that you have two people.)
No pets allowed. (The J-loop camping that allows pets seems to be fully booked.)

The reservation is with the Assateague Maryland State Park:

The reservation is for Loop B, sites 19/21/23. (More sites can be added.)
They can allow four cars and three tents and six people per site.
So the cars and tents are the limitation. (There is a parking overflow area if there are too many cars.)
I will identify who gets which specific site once we figure out the final attendance, based on who really sends in payments. We can arrange for carpools and other details once we know who is coming definitively.
The MD state park has nice bath-house facilities, with hot water showers and real flush toilets (vs the primitive National park facilities).
