UPDATE: We are all set for camping at Songer's basecamp (which is part of the Adventures on the Gorge campus - address above). We have campsites A4 & A5. Breakfast will be at the main dining pavilion at 6:00 am. After breakfast you will want to go ahead and rent a wetsuit and gear up for our 7 am departure. The Gauley is truly world-class, the Upper Gauley offer more than 60 rapids creating on the the highest-rated one-day adventures available. We'll be rafting at least 14 of these adrenaline packed rapids. This is our 5th year and each time it has been a blast. The rapids are amazing and this is something like you'll never experience. So if you like getting wet, feeling a rush of adrealine and spending the day with friends who feel the same as you then join us CAMPing in West Virginia as we go WHITE WATER RAFTING!!!!! If this is your first time with us then welcome... All newcomers are welcome... No experience required, just know how to swim and be ready to paddle and get wet!!

WHAT to BRING: Wet Suits Recommended- You may rent $ farmer style w/Rain Jacket Fleece Sweatshirt & wool or fleece socks- Cotton not recommend Shoes that can get Wet Firewood - Each Person Bring/Buy Bundle upon arrival Drinks Chairs - sitting around Campfire, Sleeping Bag, Flashlight, Warm attire for Night CARPOOL: 5 hr from DC Carpool is recommended. Mark your RSVP - Time to leave, if you can drive or need a ride and from what location. Also if you are planning both rivers make sure the carpool you chose is doing the same or doesn't mind waiting.
