We’re the #1 largest English and French Bulldog Meetup group on the East Coast with more than 2,500 members. We're also one of the largest Bulldog Meetup groups in America. We’re a diverse group of English and French bulldog enthusiasts and bulldogs of all ages and backgrounds from Washington, D.C., Maryland and Virginia. Our bulldogs include puppies, seniors, disabled and rescue bulldogs. We're friendly and fun! We'd love to meet you!
Our Mission:
TO CELEBRATE BULLDOGS and their humans through group playtime, social outings and the power of purpose! We proudly hold events each year to help benefit our local bulldog rescues and raise awareness about bulldogs in need.
TO DEFY STEREOTYPES of this very special, sometimes misunderstood breed. Bulldogs are deeply emotional, kind and intelligent dogs that require plenty of TLC. They come in all shapes, sizes and athletic abilities.
TO DEMONSTRATE RESPONSIBILITY through loving, humane pet ownership.
TO PRACTICE ECO-FRIENDLY PET OWNERSHIP by using biodegradable dog bags, sustainable food and toys whenever possible. We pledge to leave the Earth as we found it after every group meeting.
How to Get Involved:
FREE! Our group membership is free and open to both English and French bulldogs and their families. We also welcome humans who are considering possible bulldog ownership, or bulldog enthusiasts who would just like to socialize with friendly people and dogs!
BULLIES! Our events are always dog friendly, but we do not require members to bring a dog in order to attend! Multiple bulldog owners are always welcome too.
MORE FREE STUFF! We host a mix of free and paid events over the course of the year. Our events range from apple picking in dog-friendly orchards and local park play dates, to winery excursions and agility gym parties!
DO GOOD! Volunteers are always welcome at our events. We especially love help with photography, videography and event setup.
