Burning Man (And Beyond) for Beginners

Are you wanting to experience Burning Man culture but are not sure you can make it all the way to the desert? Are you planning to go to Burning Man for the first time? Or, are you simply curious about this event and its culture? Its not too late to go to the desert this year, and there are ways of finding tickets!

Join us at the GlowHouse, a burner-friendly group house, to see what it would take to make the journey this year and find out more about the Burning Man community and local events. We'll also discuss regional Burns, such as resync.art, laya Del Fuego, Transformus, LoveBurn, Frost Burn, and more.

This event is open to those who have never attended Burning Man or are burners who are new to the DC area. This is because space is limited, and to ensure the conversation stays on track and we're able to cover the material in a timely manner.

Arrive as early as 7pm, presentation will begin at 7:30pm

This is a leave-no-trace event, please leave the space cleaner than you found it.

Please don't come if you're at all feeling sick, and consider taking a rapid test before you arrive, and while masks aren't required, they are welcome!
