Sunday Critique Session

Details
This is a writer's critiquing session. What does that mean?
Those who want to attend should upload a piece of their fiction writing, maybe a short story, a chapter of a novel, or even an outline for their next book. This group is focused on "speculative fiction," which includes:
-Science Fiction (all types)
-Fantasy (all types)
-Slipstream/Weird literary fiction
-Alternate History/Post-Apocalyptic/Dystopian etc.
-Paranormal/Horror
-Any other fiction (YA, adult or otherwise) that contains a speculative element
The file needs to be uploaded under the More>Files tab. Ideally, your submission should be about 3,000 words, but please no more than 5,000 words. Please use a manuscript format with page numbers.
Submit works (ideally) a few days before Sunday.
We will take turns reviewing everyone's submission, taking care to give the author honest, productive feedback. For a reference--pretend that you are the nicest editor in the world who is taking the time to explain what is holding a piece back from being published, taking the author's feelings into consideration. You may critique in any style your prefer; most of us print out the submissions and do in-line critiques old-school style in pen (the King County Library System offers 75 free pages to print per week with a library card).
Casual observers or editors are always welcome if you want to see how our group runs or don't have a submission quite ready yet.
Hope to see you there!
