This is a two-fold challenge under the theme of 'anthorpomorphic comics,' or anthorpomorphism:

  1. check out a copy of Blacksad; we'll discuss this title as a group (our first "traditional" book club group read)
  2. share/discuss anthropomorphic comics that you've read, liked, or disliked.
  • What did you notice about the stories told?
  • Were the stories told overall better than stories with human characters? Why or why not?

Here are some suggested titles hot off the last meeting:

  • Maus
  • Elephantmen
  • Blacksad
  • BB Wolf and the Three LPs
  • Unnatural
  • Usagi Yojimbo

I intend to post more on Discord (https://discord.gg/kJjhRhnd).
