The Kennedys in Georgetown - FREE Historic Walk - Optional Dinner After.
This November 22 is the 60th anniversary of the death of President John F. Kennedy (11-22-1963).
We invite you to join us for a walk through historic Georgetown to visit sites closely associated with John F. Kennedy and Jacqueline Bouvier Kennedy.
Jack lived in Georgetown as a bachelor Congressman.
Jack and Jackie:
Met each other at a Georgetown dinner party.
Became engaged at a Georgetown restaurant.
Resided in Georgetown before their White House years.
Attended church in Georgetown.
John F. Kennedy, Jr. was born in Georgetown.
Jackie lived in Georgetown for a while after the death of her husband.
We’ll see many of these sites and much more on our “The Kennedys in Georgetown” FREE historical walk.
Please note that we’ll only be visiting the exterior of the sites, most of which are privately owned.

Registration: FREE - this event is open to the public and all are welcome to join us. Pets are welcome.
Weather: The event will take place light rain (sprinkles) or shine. If it's on our calendar, then we're proceeding as scheduled.
Parking: A variety of options throughout the area - allow plenty of time to find parking and walk to our meeting point. Metro (Foggy Bottom) or similar non-car options recommended.
Meeting Point: Cafe Georgetown - 3141 N Street NW.
Before the Event: Optional socializing at Cafe Georgetown.
Icebreaker Introductions: We should have a good-sized group and so instead of everyone introducing themselves to the group we will get to know each other by distributing blank stickers and colored markers and we’ll ask everyone to write down on their sticker: 1). first name. 2). favorite food. 3). dream vacation. Example: “Michele - Strawberries - Kenya” or “Robert - Chocolate - Tokyo”.
After the Event: Optional dinner in Georgetown at a TBD location.
