"American Sublime tells the story of artist Amy Sherald’s vision and practice through approximately 40 paintings created from 2007 to the present—from her early, rarely seen works to her iconic, larger-than-life portraits of Black Americans in everyday moments."

This is the exhibit that was censored by the Smithsonian for being "DEI". Fortunately for us, the Baltimore Museum of Art is welcoming the exhibit from November 2 to April 5. For more info see https://artbma.org/exhibition/amy-sherald-american-sublime

Let's go the first Thursday, November 6, which is one of the free days. Go to the BMA website now and reserve a timed entry ticket for 6 pm.
