And then get ready for what's in store:
He'll dig into specifics of the lean startup methodology.
Eric (@ericries (http://twitter.com/#!/ericries)) is the author of the popular blog Startup Lessons Learned (http://www.startuplessonslearned.com/) and the creator of the Lean Startup methodology. He co-founded and served as CTO of IMVU, his third startup, which has today has more than 40 million users and 2009 revenue over $22 million. As an entrepreneur-in-residence at Harvard Business School and a frequent speaker at business events, advising startups on business and product strategy using the Lean Startup approach.
He'll give you his book.
Just by registering at the standard rate, you'll get a free reserved copy of his forthcoming book, The Lean Startup (http://lean.st/), and you'll also learn how to unleash creativity, work smarter, and get products to market sooner.
That's one reserved copy of his book per ticket. And note that since the book isn't yet released, no actual physical books will be at the event; instead, you'll receive it by mail once it's published.
He'll answer your pressing questions.
When you register for the event, you can submit your interest to have Eric provide feedback on your start-up or idea by asking 1-2 pertinent questions. We'll then pick (at random) several submissions to review onstage at the evening of the event.
He'll have a beer with you beforehand.
And if you still want more, then register as a VIP for the Happy Hour, which is an exclusive (35 people only) pre-event catered gathering over free hors d'oeuvres and a cash bar from 5:30-7 PM. You'll have time to ask Eric questions and network with the most serious entrepreneurs in the DC area.
VIP ticket buyers will receive a separate email with the Happy Hour venue location.
