Melinda Wittstock is a serial entrepreneur, social media and big data expert, and an award-winning content creator. She is the founder and CEO of Verifeed, the predictive social analytics company providing actionable business intelligence mined, filtered and parsed from social conversations. Consumer brands, businesses (startups and F500 alike), associations and advocacy groups Melinda is uniquely replicating with patent-pending algorithms and 'secret sauce' processes what she did with 'shoe-leather' as an investigative journalist on the Times of London, BBC, CNBC and elsewhere to be first, right and predictive: She always wants to know where the 'story' is going next, who's influencing outcomes, and why. Melinda's grandmother was the first to call her "disruptive" at age 5 when she earned her first $100 with door-to-door sales. Melinda is the former CEO founder of Capitol News Connection, the award-winning news agency that 'localized' Congressional reporting for radio, TV, newspapers and websites, and NewsiT, the mobile crowd-sourcing and collaboration platform. She is also a startup coach and mentor, now adding the Las Vegas Downtown Project startups. An alumnae of Springboard Venture Forum, she is also co-authoring a book about female entrepreneurship. She has two great kids and a golden retriever.
