The subject of the talk is building open-source tooling based on Congressional data. Congress publishes quite a bit of interesting data. It is a different question of being able to use that data to build tooling for end-users and the general public. Lars will discuss building on top of open source congressional data, with two specific cases, working with hearing data and working with the House Rules Package data.
