Wheaton Film Festival - 11th Annual - 2025 [in-person]

With film screenings, panel discussions, and networking, the 11th Annual Wheaton Film Festival is a great event to learn about the entertainment industry and to watch some amazing short films.

The Festival takes place in-person on November 8, 2025 in the Ballroom of Wheaton Volunteer Rescue Squad from 2:30pm to 9:15pm. The address is 2400 Arcola Avenue, Second Floor Ballroom, use side dedicated entrance, Silver Spring, MD, 20902. Free parking is available at the Rescue Squad and across the street at the Wheaton library branch.

Cutting Edge Film Production - Join speaker Chris Petracco who will discuss immersive filmmaking and ambisonic sound.

Entertainment Law 101 - Join speaker John Mason discuss an overview of key legal concepts for creative professionals including option agreements, copyright, trademark, work for hire agreements, and more.
