Statistics is a discipline that uses data to support claims about populations.
Statistical analysis gives meaning to data being used. In this workshop we will learn how to calculate the basic statistical measures in Python that are used in conducting various studies. We will cover the measures of central tendency, measures of dispersion, and measures of shape.
In this seminar we will cover some basics statistics using python 3 Jupyter notebook. First, Mike will cover some basics functionality about Python in Jupyter then segue into some basics stats. This is more of an introductory seminar but everyone would still benefit from this activity.

Meet Your Presenter:
Michael Jadoo works as an economist at Office of Productivity and Technology at the Bureau of Labor Statistics. He is also an adjunct professor at Montgomery College on the subject of data analysis.
He has a bachelor’s degree in economics and business administration from Florida International University as well as a master’s degree in applied economics from The Johns Hopkins University.
