August 2016 - Blaze with Rami Chowdhury

Sometimes you're working with line-delimited JSON. Sometimes it's MySQL. Sometimes it's CSV, or all three at once, and you can't stand the thought of another ETL script. Blaze provides a familiar syntax for runing the same queries across different storage backends and even bringing different data sources together. In this talk, we'll take a quick look at the Blaze library, at what it can and can't do, and how it can make your life a little bit easier.

Rami is a long-time Python fan who mostly did web development but is now dabbling in data science. He works for Continuum Analytics, where Python and data have a very fruitful relationship.
