What are some of your favorite memories of Vietnam or anything related to Vietnam?

Helping the VN people and living with families incountry. Love to see their faces when I return. Cooking together and just doing it all the local way if in the city or in the countryside. To go in VN where no other foreigner ever goes.

What is your favorite vietnamese dish?

I can live on Pho every day of which there are varieties in VN that are not available in USA. Yes I love all Vietnamese food, except Dog. Hi HI. Forgive me I mention that, but I only ate it once to be polite. All VN food is so good and healthy too.

Can you speak Vietnamese? If so, how well? Don't worry, we're willing to teach!

Some yes, but not enough. I've let it slip now, need to do some re-training and start studying again. Next trip to VN will improve all skills especially if I don't look for translation help.

What events are you interested in attending? e.g. dining out, volunteering, Viet language or literature study, etc.

Anything fun for sure, please keep me informed. I can give some solid direction to you needing help to find your heritage and culture. For serious projects, I like to discuss those efforts in person rather than posting on internet ideas blindly.

American helping VN and VN-American Communities for 20 years who understands your culture on many levels. I value my VN friendships in USA and incountry VN. Last trip was 5 months. Projects in VN is my life direction and destiny. Nam Mo A Di Da Phat
