DCVR in VA - Immersive AR/VR Experiences

Details
From Football Field to Battlefield, AR/VR is everywhere. This month we have Jordan Higgins of U.Group, who will explain how AI, IoT, and Data are Driving Next-Gen Immersive AR/VR Experiences.
Join us at the latest DCVR NoVA chapter meeting on Tuesday, Oct 15th at 7:00 at Nova Labs in Reston, VA.
Imagine being a quarterback in the NFL – how can training be made more realistic, safer, and better prepare players for practice and game day? What if plays could be visualized at true scale, with AI-driven players that look, sound, and act like their real counterparts? For fans, what if they could experience the game as if they were on the field and part of the team? Now also consider how this would help soldiers prepare for a mission. Drawing on lessons learned working with teams like the Baltimore Ravens and military experts this talk will explore benefits of Mixed Reality training, connected sensors to track spatial data, and applying to other industries in private and public sectors to gain competitive advantage, measurably improve retention, and accelerate training and on-the-job performance.
Remember, there is plenty of free parking! Everyone is welcome to come early and have a tour of the facility. Tours of Nova Labs will also be available newcomers!
