The functional aspect of Event Sourcing has been discussed for many years now and has been applied successfully at many companies.
This new work in Functional Event Sourcing introduces new structures that enable to combine the smallest parts of Event Sourcing and Domain Driven Design (Aggregates/Streams/Deciders) into larger ones that keep the same properties. This gives Functional EventSourcing a simple and reusable shape that can be applied to any context.
Jérémie CHASSAING
Playing around with computers from his younger age, Jérémie Chassaing is involved in many projects mixing game, art, math and engineering. Full time architect at d-edge for more than 10 years, he works both on domain driven concerns, architecture and performance in the hotel business. Active member of the F# community, he’s actively working on Functional Event Sourcing. He’s the author of Crazy Farmers, an IRL board game and its online version.
