After the Storystorming world tour :-) at the DDD meetups of Cologne, Hamburg, Berlin, Wroclaw, Munich, London and Paris, our co-organizer Martin Schimak finally brings this story to Vienna!
What is Storystorming?
Storystorming is a toolbox and mashup of existing methods to collaboratively explore user journeys, work procedures and business processes and refine them into working software models. Storystorming facilitates many opportunities for collaboration between business and technology experts, helps them to visually connect the dots and discover what your organisation needs to be successful.
In this meetup, Martin will introduce us to various aspects and variants of Storystorming with a little background talk and will then show us his simplified variant of Domain Storytelling using sticky notes. With this method, we can leverage the fundamental “Subject - Verb- Object” structure of language to enable domain experts to tell their stories in a visualized manner, but without requiring them to learn anything more but five different colors. Martin will then show us how to use grids in Miro to enable a smooth remote Storystorming session and we'll do an extensive hands-on to experience the method ourselves. Last not least there will be time to ask your questions and have a relaxed discussion.
