Hello everyone,

we are proud to announce a long planned, very special meetup that goes beyond our technical skills. This time, in collaboration with the IIBA Austria Chapter – the community for Business Analysts – we’re exploring Three Leadership Principles.

Our host, the wonderful Andra Stefanescu, will introduce these three leadership principles in a practical, hands-on way. You’ll get the chance to apply them in small groups using a bit of Play-Doh and your creativity!

Why should you attend? Just in case you are a software developer 😉, this topic might seem a little outside your comfort zone. But that’s exactly where the opportunity lies: leadership principles aren’t just for management roles – they’re valuable tools for all devs reaching out to become more "senior" by developing their complementary skills. Furthermore, effective collaboration between developers and business analysts is key to delivering requirements efficiently. This workshop will show you how conscious leadership, teamwork across roles, and creative approaches can help you bring added value to your team.

3 Leadership Principles That Help Anyone To Enjoy Their Work

Sometimes being a leader is not easy! You sometimes have no power, people are resistant to what you ask them. It is hard for you to go through organizational changes, guide them, and they follow you. You feel unsatisfied and want to discover how else you can deal with transformation, your teams, and your boss?

Here are some of the things you will discover in this session, so that you know what to expect:

• why it is not fine when you have the impression you are not heard at work and what can you do about it
• what is triggering the sense of not belonging to an organization what can drive people leaving and what can be done about it
• how you can become overwhelmed by organizational misalignment, how this can trigger conflicts, and what you can do to avoid it

What is included in the session is information extracted from brain-based training, blended with years of experience and research in different organizations and cultures. All of these will help you build healthy relationships that work, and deal with organizational changes and hidden resistance to change. You will get a minimum of 3 practical ideas on how to become the leader that everybody loves and follows, which will impact seriously the joy you bring to work while collaborating with others.
