Data science and advanced statistics are fundamentally formulas, so they can be applied without software, by hand, or using multiple tools like R, Python, or SPSS (sometimes Excel), but with the advent of business intelligence tools and AI.

What is the easiest way to apply it to your data?

Personally, I prefer to calculate correlation coefficients and create my own custom AI insights/code. Some of the automated methods have shortcomings at a more advanced level, e.g., “Most times I don’t want a summary value for a statistic but across a matrix, which 99% don’t,” but in other instances for regression variables, there is no real benefit to doing it the hard way; automated and more dynamic is better!

This knowledge is not heavily advertised online, and a lot of people don’t have the expertise or inclination to give it away.

After explaining the concept, advantages and use cases for +10 statistics, I’ll show the concept of control charts. If you're only using sum, average, or RAG (red, amber, green), this is "exciting stuff"; we focus on understanding if variation is within control or not, taking into account underlying numbers, which a ratio %, or a RAG, doesn't!
