In 2019 we will continue with the Agile Testing Meetup!
With the great feedback we received in 2018, we want to build the agenda a little differently. To increase the time for networking, there is now one talk per meetup instead of two.

18:30 Uhr - Meet & Greet mit Catering
18:50 Uhr - Welcome
19:00 Uhr - TDD hands-on - The Bowling Game Kata (Sven Hettwer)
20:15 Uhr - Open End / Networking

The year has just started and you might have some resolutions. One of them may be to learn and practice test driven development (TDD). Here is your chance to implement this one!

TDD hands-on - The Bowling Game Kata (Sven Hettwer)
I will guide you through a hands-on TDD session based on Uncle Bobs "Bowling Game Kata". You'll get a introduction into the concept of TDD followed by the hands-on part, where you develop your own bowling game using the TDD-approach. If you've any questions, we'll discuss them as a group or I'll come around and help you out. Please make sure to bring your own device with Java and an IDE of your choice pre-installed.
You could also try a different programming language than Java but then it might be the case that I can't support you from a technical perspective.

Sven Hettwer works at ConSol as a Senior Software Engineer in Düsseldorf with a focus on test automation and CI/CD pipelines. He is maintainer of the Citrus integration testing framework and a code quality and software testing advocate.

As always, pizza and beer are catered for you!

Please notice that we'd like to take some pictures. If you don't want to be photographed, please tell us at the beginning of the event.

We look forward to seeing you!
