Hi Berlin,
let's talk and learn about dbt.
dbt is a data transformation framework including capabilities to test and document your transformations.
It uses SQL only making it quite accessible while allowing the use of variables and more complex logic with Jinja templating. If you're interested in data flows & transformations, this meetup is for you!
Find out more about dbt and the thinking behind it here:
https://www.getdbt.com/product/
https://docs.getdbt.com/docs/design-patterns
We'll have three presentations of 15 minutes followed by 5 minutes of Q&A. After the talks there will be the chance to mingle and network.
The awesome people of talent.io were gracious to host us and provide drinks, so let's cheers to them!
You'll find signs pointing you to the office on the 5th floor at the entrance to the building. After entering the building, turn right and follow the hallway around a left turn. In consideration of the neighbours, please take the elevator on the right hand side to directly get to the talent.io office.
