Hello there!
Welcome to a new appointment of CI/CD meetup. Last time we had several people interested on service testing and client integration. For this reason this session will cover this time the integration testing in the Continuous Testing pipeline.

Agenda:

18.30 - 19.00 networking & food

19.00 - 19.05 Welcome message from Sauce Labs

19.00 - 19.30 "Release validation in an unstable world"
Ensuring quality for enterprise customers is not easy, and to do this you need a solid, reliable release validation strategy. But sometimes deciding whether a release is release-worthy can be complicated. The real device team at Sauce Labs worked hard to overcome issues in this area and I'll tell how we've improved our release validation over the past couple of years, plus some mistakes we made along the way.

19.40 Break

19.50 "Mock and stub servers are often good enough"
My experience showed me that you can get enough confidence about what your application is doing by simply mocking/stubbing the services that your application depends on. In the talk I explain why this is the case (some theory about testing, but with pictures :-) ).
