Escape the Berlin winter with the Bear Radio podcasting meetup! Whether you have a podcast, are looking to start a podcast, or just want to meet people in the audio scene, join us!

Speakers:
Michael Chapman of Patreon will be talking about the platform's work in Germany and how it can benefit all kinds of creators!

Camille Bondeville of DAVID Systems GmbH and host of the Women in Tech + Radio Podcast will be talking about how to use podcasting as a means to raise awareness on social issues.

Florian Polak of RecTag will be talking about the new podcast discovery platform: "We are a personalized podcast platform with a focus on the long tail of podcasters. Through our tech solution we help them to reach their listeners better and listeners to discover exciting podcast episodes much, much easier."

Luisa Beck is a reporter for The Washington Post’s Berlin bureau, where she covers politics, religion, history, art and the climate. Before joining The Post, she made audio stories for National Public Radio in the US, the Center for Investigative Reporting and podcasts such as "99% Invisible" and "Rough Translation." When she wasn’t obsessing over tape, she could be found roaming the streets of San Francisco making location-based audio walks for the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art and the media start-up Detour. These days she mainly roams Tempelhofer Feld to admire grasshoppers, invasive trees, and dragons in the form of kites.
