SIGN UP FOR AN HOUR SLOT AND PODCAST FOR FREE!! PLEASE NOTE: YOU MUST SIGN UP FOR A TIME SLOT!

Are you curious about podcasting? Do you already know how to work the board, but want to record something? Or are you interested in the basics of podcasting and want to try out the equipment?

Here is your chance to learn about podcasting and to record for FREE!

From 10 a.m. until 5 p.m., you will be able to reserve our podcast studio for one hour at a time. We are also offering options for you to sit with a podcast consultant and be trained on the board and have your questions answered.

Please see below for information to participate.

  1. If you have never recorded before, please watch these videos (http://bit.ly/AdventYouTube) prior to coming to Advent. We will also have the videos set up in the studio for you to watch as a refresh. WE WILL NOT BE OFFERING LESSONS OR BE ABLE TO HELP YOU ONE-ON-ONE, SO PLEASE WATCH THE VIDEOS.

  2. You will need an SD card to record. You have the option to bring your own, use ours just to test out the recording (good if you don't want to take it home with you), or purchase an SD card ($12) from us. If you want to purchase a card, please let us know ahead of time so we have enough on hand.

  3. If you would like to sit with our Podcast Consultant, sign up for the 1 p.m. or the 4 p.m. time slot. PLEASE NOTE: You will be learning the board and asking questions during this time. She will not act as a producer for your episode.

  4. You MUST reserve your time slot for this day, and PLEASE arrive on time if you want to utilize your full hour.
