DNSheads Vienna - first meetup!

Let's get going! The DNSheads Vienna group will hold their first face to face meetup - An informal get-together of folks involved in the operations of DNS services (be it authoritative or recursive, or both ;). We'll have two interesting talks in the field of DNS:

• Michael Braunöder (nic.at's DNSSEC expert) will talk about the DNSSEC root key rollover (which happens on October 11th). He'll describe what DNS operators need to watch out for so that the transition runs smooth!

• Markus Heimhilcher (from the University of Vienna) will share his results of DNS performance measurements (using dnsdist and Knot), and will also talk about the basics of dnsdist.

We'll meet at 17:00 at the premises of nic.at. There will be beer (and other drinks), and light snacks.
