“It’s not about ideas. It’s about making ideas happen.” That’s what entrepreneur Scott Belsky said. The good thing is, it has never been so easy to implement ideas as it is today. The fintech industry stands as a vivid example for this. That’s true for the fintech scene in Cologne, too of course.
So, for our 12th episode of finfinity, we are looking at fintech innovations, disruptions and insights from our beloved city on the banks of the Rhine.
The meetup will take place on November 20th, 7 PM in the location of KI Group, Mittelstrasse 12-14, 50672 Cologne, 4th floor. A perfect setting to enjoy drinks and conversations and forge new business relations.
1. Arne Horn, founder of Banking One.
Arne is a developer turned entrepreneur, who has built up several companies. He knows: If the product doesn’t deliver value, the corresponding startup is doomed. Arne’s company Banking One generates value: For banking institutions, Banking One offers real-time predictions of customer interest in financial products.
Arne will share his insights on how to use data to increase customer loyalty and satisfaction (and thus revenue).
2. Martin Grass, founder of SCAN4FIN.
As a BI and analytics platform, SCAN4FIN helps merchants analyzing and understanding their payment transactions to make data-driven decisions.
Martin has been working in the digital payment industry for over 14 years, including engagements at ClickandBuy, PayPal and Klarna.
Martin will speak about how to "Manage Payments, Not Data. BI & Analytics for Merchants."
3. Benedikt Schulz, Chief of Operations at insoro.
Benedikt has a background in finance and working experience in ETF trading & brokerage. As an enthusiast of new approaches in financial services, he is dedicated to solving three problems prevalent in the industry: conflicts of interest, distrust and a lack of sound business models in low cost products.
At finfinity #12, Benedikt will look into “Robo Advisory and New Business Models in Modern Portfolio Management.”
Looking forward to see you all soon,
