Hallo liebe NLP-Interessierte,

nun sind einige Monate seit der Gründung dieser Meetup-Gruppe vergangen, aber Corona und die mit dieser Krankheit verbundenen Einschränkungen haben uns leider immer noch nicht verlassen.
Damit wir uns trotzdem bald kennenlernen und gemeinsam eine coole Meetup-Reihe planen und einleiten können, haben wir uns nun doch dazu durchgerungen, mit einem virtuellen Treffen (Details folgen noch) am 22. September zu starten.

In diesem Treffen werden wir zunächst einmal uns Organisatoren vorstellen, Euch einen kleinen Einblick in unser Verständnis vom Themengebiet NLP vermitteln und hoffentlich vor allem mit Euch über Eure Vorstellungen vom Meetup ins Gespräch kommen.
Wie gut letzterer Punkt klappt, hängt sicher auch von der Gruppengröße ab, aber ich bin mir sicher, dass wir da bis im September eine vernünftige Lösung finden werden.

Dear NLP community,

several months have passed since the foundation of this Meetup group. Unfortunately, the restrictions that come with the attempt to prevent the spreading of the Corona Virus are still necessary. In order to get a cool series of events rolling, nevertheless, we decided to start with a virtual event on September, 22nd.

In this event, we will mainly introduce our group of organisators and give you a small introduction into our understanding of the broader topic NLP. With just a little bit of luck this will start some discussion that will fill some more vivid minutes. We are still evaluating some platforms to suit such discussions for various amounts of people.

Feel free to leave comments and suggestions!

We are very much looking forward to lots of nice evenings with you that cover topics all around NLP, NLU and Machine learning!
