Henk Vlootman (MVP, Niederlande) wird uns einen tollen Vortrag zum Thema Datenmodellierung in Power BI geben.

###Power Query and Power Pivot – The use of different tables in Power pivot###

In this session we dive deep into the different types of tables we recommend you should use. We distinguish the following types of tables:

Dimension table

Dimension – Var table

Var Table

Fact table

Measure table.

In this session we create a forecasting real estate model by using the different types of tables. Before this we show you how to use Power Query in order to expand the fact tables for the needed timeframe. We will explain the differences between the tables types and build a model by using each type. There is specific attention for relations between the table types. We also demonstrate our preferred building techniques in Power BI.
