Everything You Ever Wanted to Know about Protobuf

Data serialization has an important place in the toolbox of every software professional. D makes it very easy to solve data serialization. A wide range of libraries exist varying from self-invented serializations, to compile-time generation of parsers and generators for well-known formats. This talk proposes a canonical solution for adding D language support for Google Protocol Buffers. A couple of D compile-time tricks but also the protocol buffer library will be presented.
